5. Victim of Love by Charles Bradley

Vinyl LP pressing. 2013 release from the veteran R&B vocalist AKA the 'Screaming Eagle of Soul'. Bradley and writer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Thomas "TNT" Brenneck returned to Dunham studios and have recorded the most exciting Daptone release to date. On this album, Bradley moves past his "Heartaches and Pain" to the great promise of hope and love. Though quite at home among the music that has affirmed Daptone as the world's #1 authority on Soul Music, Victim of Love proves to be a genre-bending masterpiece, picking up where the early 70's Temptations left off and edging boldly forward into psychedelic soul exploration.

4. Negro Swan by Blood Orange

Double vinyl LP pressing includes digital download. Producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and vocalist Devonte Hynes returns with his fourth album as Blood Orange entitled Negro Swan.

3. Atlantic Singles Collection 1967-1970 by Aretha Franklin

Double vinyl LP pressing. The Atlantic Singles Collection 1967-1970 features 25 tracks which Franklin released during her first three years with Atlantic Records. Includes classics like "Respect", "A Natural Woman (You Make Me Feel Like)" and "Chain Of Fools."

2. Special Night by Lee Fields & The Expressions:

There are a few terms that get thrown around loosely, two of which are legend and retro-soul. One of these fits Lee Fields hand and glove, one of these doesn't fit at all. Very few people in music have both earned the status of legendary and continue to solidify it. 50 years in the game and only getting better, gaining more fans, and evolving his sound on each album, Lee is in fact a Living Legend.

1. Ella Mai by Ella Mai:

Vinyl LP pressing. Debut 2018 album of 90's style jams from the London R&B vocalist. Featuring "Boo'd Up".
